Company Profile

Northern Trade Windows (Pennines) Ltd started trading in 1994 and is now based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. We supply windows, doors and conservatories throughout Yorkshire and Lancashire.

Northern Trade Windows was formed by the current Directors John Cosgrove and Ian Mercer, both having extensive experience within the industry. Northern Trade Windows initially bought in windows from various companies, but due to poor service the Directors made the decision to manufacture their own windows instead. After a long and detailed analysis of the PVCu extrusion companies the decision was taken to use the Rehau S706 system.

It has proven to be a wise decision. Initially making only Northern Trade Windows windows (around 50 per week) due to the quality of the Rehau product, we were approached by various other companies and 10 years later we are making approximately 400-500 frames a week. Customers range from major contractors including Stainforth Construction, Termrim Construction and the MoD.

Northern Trade Windows has now built a reputation for supplying the latest specification product with no compromise on quality and service. Locally throughout Yorkshire over the last 10 years we have developed a superb reputation within the general public. Over 50% of our work is now generated through recommendations from existing customers.

Plans for 2005-2006 include relocation of the company within Leeds to larger premises with a target to produce 1000 frames per week.

Director John Cosgrove quotes "Our progress so far and plans for the future are due to the initial choice of the Rehau system and the excellent team of staff Northern Trade Windows now has. We have built a solid foundation and I am eagerly looking forward to the next ten years".
